Our 3 step process allows us to develop a customized plan to find the right community for you or your loved one.
Independent Living
Designed for older adults, usually 55 and up.
Can vary from apartments to cottages.
Residents live independently while enjoying the community's amenities, activities, and services.
Assisted Living
Offer personalized care in a residential setting.
Services may include assistance with activities of daily living (i.e., bathing, dressing, and grooming) and medication management.
Other amenities include housekeeping, meals, laundry, transportation, social programs, and activities.
Staff is available 24/7 to help with safety, care, and support.
Memory Care
Designed to provide a safe, structured environment for people with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive diseases.
Provide many of the same services as AL, but with extra structure and support to help residents navigate their day.
May have alarmed doors, elevators that require a code, and enclosed outdoor spaces to keep residents safe from wandering and elopement.
Long-Term Care Community
Offer medical and non-medical care to those unable to perform basic activities of daily living on their own due to cognitive and/or physical decline.
Provide around-the-clock care.
Offer activities to promote engagement and socialization.
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
A rehabilitation facility for short term care after a qualifying hospital stay
Designed to help a person recover and regain their ability to do activities of daily living before returning home.
Services may include physical, occupational, and speech therapy, nursing care, wound care, intravenous (IV) therapy, injections, and catheter care.
Respite Care
A short-term stay in a community to give a break to primary caregivers.
Usually in an assisted living or LTC community.
Stays can range from a few days to a month.
Residential Care Homes
Provide care and support similar to AL but in a smaller, home-like setting.
Often converted single-family homes located in neighborhoods.
Typically don't include any extra amenities, but due to their smaller size can offer more personalized care.
Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)
Created for older adults who are relatively healthy now but are planning for their future health needs.
Offer a spectrum of care from independent living to skilled nursing care within the same community.
